Gridlights

The concept of Gridlights includes a traffic light-like device which informs the general public about the real-time electricity demand on the national grid.  It offers a way of democratising the managment of the electricity generation network by inviting the public to participate by altering their electricity usage patterns.

The Schumacher Institute is going to run two community pilots to test  the Gridlights concept.  A person is required to organise the pilots and conduct the social research.
