Open Platform is a career development programme ideal for individuals with, or looking for, purpose in their current or future vocation. Open Platform has developed two programmes to accommodate individuals with and without professional experience. For the first programme, the Schumacher Institute for Sustainable Systems has partnered with the Schumacher Society to deliver a rich mix of career development tools including mentoring and training in sustainability to help young people with limited or no previous professional experience develop their potential and pursue their desired career. For the second programme the Schumacher Institute has developed several partnerships with high profile organisations including Business in the Community, The Association of Sustainability Practitioners and University of the West of England to help professionals add purpose to their current or future vocation and to support businesses to become organisational leaders of the future. Recruitment is ongoing. Check the News page for our next introductory day. If you would like to book a place or visit us at any other time please contact us. The open day will introduce and expand on the following:
There is a cost for participating in the programme, but as we understand that it may not be possible for everyone to afford this, we have developed a payment arrangement that allows everyone who wishes to participate to do so. For more information, please click here. |
